100th fruit tree in Food Forest

I stayed in Sanjo last night. We started the day with visiting pear orchard of Tazawa Farm. Then we drove for 2 hours to Eden Herb Garden in Matsunoyama to plant some fruit trees. We have planted 100th fruit tree today! It was my new year’s resolution of 2017. So it took me for 2 years.

After lunch, we have visited a secret garden in Murono, where we might start synecoculture next year. We are transplanting some Kuromoji (Lindera umbellate). Then we foraged Yama Budo (Crimson Glory Vine). We kept its seeds to plant, of course!
